NVequipment selects fabrics, components, and finishes that can withstand exposure to the sun, salt, damp, and repeated handling. We are also shifting our focus toward more sustainable, recycled materials (sourced from recycling schemes or bio-based materials whenever possible) as long as they guarantee the same level of performance, comfort, and quality of use on board
Reducing the environmental impact of boat covers also means thinking ahead about what happens to them after use. NVequipment works with our partners to make better use of production offcuts, incorporate more recycled materials, and enhance supply chains tailored to textiles and marine components. Continuous improvement, ensured collaboratively with suppliers, to reduce waste and better conserve resources.
Responsible protection means boat covers that remain reliable, practical, and enjoyable to use over time. Quality of assembly, durability of materials, ease of maintenance, replaceable parts, or the ability to replace certain components: every design choice is intended to extend the service life of our boat covers without having to replace the entire structure too soon. REPLACEMENT CANVAS
Cloudy windows, torn canvas, faded colours or less effective waterproofing: as long as the structure is still sound, not everything needs to be replaced.
Replacing the canvas restores visibility, protection, durability, and style, while extending the life of the equipment.
BOAT COVER REPAIRABILITY
A worn zipper, fastener, strap, or component doesn’t mean the entire structure needs to be replaced. With the right spare parts and components, you can repair what needs to be repaired and continue using your boat cover for longer.
