Our Commitments
to use sustainable fabrics by Sunbrella
Textiles are with us everywhere, embellishing our daily lives and bringing style to every living space. At NVequipment, we design protective boat covers that are attractive, durable, practical and comfortable. In addition to these commitments, NVequipment attaches particular importance to choosing suppliers and partners that commit to sustainability. Aligned on the same values, NV has chosen to work closely with the Sunbrella brand, owned by the Dickson Constant group, for its fabric products. Read the article about our commitments and act for the future with responsible products.
Responsibly designed products must first and foremost be made of sustainable materials.
From the start of manufacture of their marine fabrics, Sunbrella places sustainability at the heart of its commitment. More than just an elegant product, Sunbrella has developed advanced techniques to design sustainable fabrics. Used in NV covers, they reinforce the resistance of protective equipment to provide optimum comfort and safety.
By the year 2025, Sunbrella will be using twice as much recycled raw material. As the world leader in technical textiles, Dickson Constant is taking action to meet environmental challenges and is committed to creating a more sustainable and fairer world. Sharing this common ambition, we support our partner in their dedicated Greenovation programme.
It brings together company employees, partners and customers to create innovative, responsible textiles that provide virtuous solutions.
Today, market needs have evolved, and customers are adopting a more rational mode of consumption. For this reason, quality and sustainability are at the heart of our business: to ensure that our products live up to the lifestyles of today and tomorrow. These ambitions are shared by NVequipment and Sunbrella, a brand owned by the Dickson Constant group.
For marine upholstery, the fabrics used are of the highest quality, thus extending the life of the products. Raw materials are selected with the same exacting standards, in line with European regulatory developments.
For nearly 50 years, we have trusted Sunbrella, a brand owned by the Dickson Constant group, to design our canvas boat covers. A privileged NVequipment partner, with whom se share common values aimed at providing eco-designed products that respect the environment and ensuring that NVequipment’s boat covers last for a long time, thanks to the high quality of Sunbrella fabric.

Nvequipment’s RENEW
programme
At NVequipment, our eco-responsible “RENEW NV” programme is reflected in concrete initiatives such as the “Decarbonation Plan” and the life cycle analysis of our products to develop eco-designed nautical fabrics.
We are committed to collecting fabric waste and reducing our losses, while promoting low-carbon mobility and reducing our energy consumption. In partnership with the association L’Odyssée Bleue*, we actively support sponsorship of ocean clean-up projects.
*The founder of L’odyssée Bleue, Stéphane Mifsud has been raising awareness and protecting the oceans since 2015 with the motto “Understand to better protect”.
What’s more, for every replacement canvas purchased, NV donates 1% to this association, reinforcing our commitment to environmental protection.
