Durable material – the secrets of PVC canvas
The Serge Ferrari group set out to propose a membrane made from a more responsible composite to meet environmental challenges. Indeed, our manufacturing methods have an impact on the environment. PVC fabrics are manufactured to be lighter, allowing for a smoother design which reduces the use of additional materials in the manufacturing process.
In order to offer an innovative PVC canvas solution, the group has set up an innovation department to meet the various challenges.
The aim is not only to manufacture better, but also to address human issues such as health and safety. Today’s challenge is to design products that respond precisely
to the needs of customers while remaining affordable: buy less but better. Doing less is no longer an option.
