What is the difference between acrylic and PVC?

Acrylic canvas is woven, coated on one side, rot-proof and the colours are dyed in the mass. PVC canvas is a polyester membrane, coated on one side, waterproof and easy to maintain. Both materials are suitable for the marine environment and for all applications.

It’s a matter of perception and comfort for everyone. Acrylic is traditionally used for crew protection (hood, bimini, rear enclosure, sprayhood, etc.), PVC is used to protect equipment on board (covers and awnings).
