As you sail, your boat is exposed to salt, UV rays, wind, humidity and temperature variations.
These marine conditions put your protective coverings to the test.
Over time, a canvas can:

- Stretch or become fragile
- Offer less effective protection
- Lose its transparency and aesthetic appeal
Even if the wear and tear is gradual, it affects your comfort on board… and your safety.

How do you know if your canvas needs to be replaced?
There are some tell-tale signs:
- Seams that are becoming fragile or torn
- Dull or stiffened canvas
- Windows becoming cloudy
- Reduced waterproofing
- Less stable in the wind

Regular maintenance significantly extends the life of your protective covers:
- Rinse with fresh water after sailing
- Clean with suitable products
- Dry completely before storage
- Regularly check seams and windows
